Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. [NLT] – Romans 12:2

I had a busy weekend, as on the same day my first son turned one, my last brother turned 21. God has been faithful and it is indeed impossible to repay him for all of his wonderful benefits.

Some times in life, there are some things that people may have erred towards you, a friend may have turned you into the title tattle of the century; a mother may have missed some of the most important days in your life –so you’ve decided to be very cross with her; better still, a man whom you’d rested all your hopes on disappointed you/you’ve been waiting for an answer to a particular desire/need/want, and because it is taking so long to come, you’ve become disillusioned, hopeless and have not only given up, but chosen to act in a negative manner. Don’t let whatever that is going on around to you disquiet you. CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK, and choose to find ways of renewing your thinking towards all these adversities. Always find a positive note to end on. And so you are the talk of the town? Does that affect the price of fish? NO. So you’re disappointed with Mrs C and Mr B upset you, get over it! DON’T TRY TO COPY the way others react to such situations, START YOUR OWN NEW FOLLOWING, the way, people like you react to such situations. People, whose minds have been transformed into the thinking of Christ!

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!” [NLT] – Numbers 11:23

If I had known during the storms of life that my future (my today) was going to be a reality, I would not have wasted my time during the difficult years/not so good days in self-doubt, pity party and disbelief. But it did happen, it came to pass. And so will yours too. Are there things you’re believing God for, that are taking so long come, and in the wait you’ve literally decided to put your life on hold, and shunned people out. DONT!  Has the Lord lost His power since the creation when he formed all things out of nothing and therefore is no longer able to do that important thing in your life? You know the answer is NO! Look at your life, you are a living wonder, the fact that you are alive is a MIRACLE and the rest will come. It will, believe that. Let that just settle into your mind, when you have pity party days.

Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear. [NLT] – Matthew 24:35

The WORD of the Lord is CONSTANT and TRUE. Everything else is a variable, which changes with times and season. God says EVERYTHING He has said concerning you will never disappear, and thus will come to pass in your life. There are some times/some seasons in your life which might cause you to doubt that – I should know, I have been there – But the Word of the Lord is the only sure thing you can hold on to. He will make you what He says you will be. Don’t let the word of others contend with the WORD of God in your life. Hold onto it, Believe it, and watch it come to pass. The Lord is a faithful God and He can be depended upon. He will never disappoint you. Have faith in God!

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. [NLT] – Psalm 36:5

“O Lord our God, how excellent your name is. How excellent your name in all the earth. Your glory fills the heaven, beyond the farthest skies, how excellent your name in all the earth”. This was a song we learnt as children [taught to us by Dr. Bridget Kolade of Vine Branch Church], a song that always comes to my memory, a song I can indeed relate to. Our God is INDEED an EXCELLENT GOD. Excellent in all His ways. His Glory and Faithfulness knows no bounds. Even the skies, beyond it and the heavens can never ever be able to contain it. He alone is worthy to be praised and adored!

I will sing forever about the evidence of your mercy, O LORD. I will tell about your faithfulness to every generation. [GWT] – Psalm 89:1

The LORD of Lords is a faithful God. With my mouth I will proclaim of His goodness. He has been good. He has been faithful. There is no god like my God. Does He speak and not bring it to pass – Mbanu [a resounding NO]. Does He not know how to reward His children? He has done GREAT great things for me, He has been my all and my all. My very great reward. The Lover of my soul. My way maker and my promoter. Ancient of days, Creator of the entire Universe, THE I AM, Who has always been there for me. Lord I will forever sing about the EVIDENCES of your MERCY in my Life. Thank You Lord, for all you have done for me, for us.

For nothing is impossible with God. [NLT] – Luke 1:37

Don’t you think it’s about time you take God at His WORD, believe it and let His word work for you? Sometimes in life that is all you really need to do. Have an unshakable faith in God and be fully persuaded that He is able to solve that challenge, or that He is faithful to perform all that He has promised. In my life, I have seen God at work, and every time He eases away a strain that otherwise would have grown to become a challenge fills me with the knowledge that not only does He see me, but that I am constantly in His memory. And so too are you. Have faith in God. He is a faithful God, and He will do exactly what he says He will do. Honestly, in my life, I have found that to be true.

This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. [NLT] – Isaiah 48:17

If there is anything I have learnt this week, allowing God to take the lead, takes away every form of anxiety. In His time He does make everything beautiful. I found Him never to be late, but always on time. He never allows you to go through a trial if He doesn’t know how it will end. You will find that through it all, you will always be victorious. Remember this, when your week don’t go according to your plan. It may have been a rocky start, but it ended very well. Thank you Lord for this!
