A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. [NLT] – Ephesians 6:10
With every challenge, even after you are properly dressed, and you have prayed, ask also for strength and courage to stand and see with your very eyes the victories God will give to you. If you are not properly dressed, and do not have prayer as your secret staff, you will not have the strength and courage to stand firm. Make up your mind that in spite of it all, you will stand your ground and see your way through that challenge. Yes the challenges may be mighty, and in it all, you are without strength, but OUR REDEEMER, JESUS CHRIST, is ALMIGHTY, and in the power of his might WE WILL OVERCOME. You are an overcome. You are stronger than you realise!
Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. [NIV] – Ephesians 6:13
What is this right warfare garment I mentioned yesterday? To gain victory in the fiercest of battle you need to be wearing: The TRUTH as your BELT tight around your waist, with RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD/God’s approval as your BREASTPLATE; as your SHOES the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. And while you have your breastplate, belt and shoes, don’t forget to carry FAITH as your SHIELD, because you will need it to put out all the burning arrows shot at you by your adversary; Your HELMET which is your salvation and THE WORD OF GOD as the SWORD which the Holy Spirit has given you. And finally, after you have worn your garments of warfare, don’t forget to PRAY, this is that secret weapon for TOTAL VICTORY! And indeed with God on your side, you will be victorious in Jesus name. Amen.
Put on all the armor that God supplies. In this way you can take a stand against the devil’s strategies. [GWT] – Ephesians 6:11
With every challenge, regardless of how fiercest it may be, you need to be wearing the right attitude, the right warfare garment. When properly dressed, you can and will be able to resist that adversary challenging you against your promotion/breakthrough/settlement/success. Make up your mind that in spite of it all, you will stand your ground. Don’t distrust that cause, that vision, that purpose, that dream. Don’t give advantage to that negative/wrong thinking. Your success story is worth fighting for, and in order to succeed is worth preparing for. And with God supplying your armour you are already an overcomer!
The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted him, so I received help. My heart is triumphant; I give thanks to him with my song. [GWT] – Psalm 28:7
When you make Jesus the centre of your life, regardless of what might be happening around you, because He is the core/holding force of your life, you will not be pulled /sucked in by that challenge/difficulty. And because you trusted Him to handle all your problems, because of that faith and Belief you have in in Him to come through for you, He will indeed NEVER EVER FAIL YOU.
