Verse of the Day

But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess his inheritance. [NIV] Obadiah 1:17

Maybe someone around you may have dishonoured / violated / desecrated you in one way or another, leaving you with a feeling of shame / disgrace / humiliation. The Lord says there will be judgement. And while He is judging what transpired, He will deliver/restore you back to your rightful place. You will not only regain and take back all that belongs to you which you may have lost, but He will also make you holy / blessed / righteous. So even though you may have fallen on account of abuse at the hands of others, you will rise again, and even though all you may be seeing now is darkness, the Lord says He will be your light (Micah 7:18). Look unto Jesus, and all the grime that once clouded your once gorgeous life, will be wiped clean. He will help you see clearly into your wonderfully glorious future. You’re not written off yet! Your best days are on their way!

Verse of the Day

The LORD will restore Jacob’s glory like Israel’s glory, although enemies have looted it and have destroyed its vines. [GWT] Nahum 2:2

The Lord says He will restore your splendour. Don’t think there’s any more to add! Maybe you’re feeling a little neglected, abandoned, with a bleak outlook because of all that is happening around you. The Lord says He’s going to add some wonderful colours back into your life, to make you glorious! The loveliness of a successful life that you were destined for that once eluded you, which you thought you may never be associated with, the Lord says He is restoring back. Get ready, sooner than you can ever imagine, glory is about to overtake you, and a life lived in great joy will forever be synonymous with your name. Amen and Amen.

Verse of the Day

The LORD asked, “Is it right for you to be angry?” [HCSB] Jonah 4:4

Certain things may not be working out at the pace you expected them to be. Quite possibly you’ve become a little irritated at the progress of others around you when compared to your life’s progress. Don’t let your focus be distracted. It’s understandable for you to be angry, but it is not right for you to be. The Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land, has the right to do as He pleases, and He pleases to bless you. So what it’s taken a little longer in showing up, or miss T, already has hers, don’t let that disquieten you. All that matters is that Jesus has you in His thoughts and you are not forgotten. And sooner than you think, everything will work out just fine!

Verse of the Day.

For the LORD is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The LORD God of Heaven’s Armies is his name! [Amos 4:13]

No one can fully understand the thoughts and plans of the Lord, or why He chooses to do what He does, but if you walk with Him, He will give you a glimpse of it all. The Word of the Lord says, “Almighty LORD doesn’t do anything unless He [first] reveals his secret to his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). You are the Prophet of your life, which means that God can reveal to you what He plans to do in your life. Don’t you think He’s worth knowing? He is the LORD God of Heaven’s Armies, and with Him on your side, you don’t ever have to fear the challenging times because you already know how they will all end!
