The battle is not over yet

Verse of the Day

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob. He turned the rock into a pool of water; yes, a spring of water flowed from solid rock. [NLT] Psalm 114:7-8

….

Do you know how hard a rock is? How physically and scientifically impossible it is to transform a rock into a pool of water? Not re-crystallization of the rock as a result of hot fluids, but the rock being completely changed into water, water that grows to form a pool. Ok for the Scientists among us, yes some rocks such as, Serpentinite, under certain conditions can be formed from water, but once a rock is formed, it can’t all of a sudden melt. But I digress :D. But the Word of God tells us that the God of Jacob, of Isaac, of Abraham can! He can do the impossible! Regardless of how fierce that battle is, with Jehovah on your side, you are already victorious! #VerseoftheDay

You’re not prone to misfortune

Verse of the Day
‘May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand-fold more than you are and bless you, just as He has promised you! [NASB] Deuteronomy 1:11
….
Isn’t it amazing to know that God has made a #promise concerning our lives, and whether we like it or not, whether we think it might happen or not happen, regardless of how long it appears we’ve been waiting for it, even when we go through our phases of belief and unbelief; #God is still faithful in bringing His promises to pass in our lives! And He can be trusted. Let that sink deep into our consciousness, and we will finally see that all that has happened in our lives have the designs of the master planner written all over it! You’re not alone and you’re not prone to misfortune.

You are much more than you realise!

Verse of the day

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. [NLT] Ephesians 3:20

…..

God’s power is so infinite, that it is beyond measureable, i.e., cannot be calculated, comprehended or understood. And the word of God tells us that, that same power is at work within us, and all we need do is exert it that bit more so to accomplish great GREAT wonders in our lives. Can you then imagine how much God can do in our lives and through our lives with our co-operation? Exactly, it would be beyond unthinkable! So that change we’ve been looking for, that transformation we’ve been yearning for, that goal that we’ve been desiring to be realized in our lives, is well within our reach. All we need do is to work together with God, and in time, we will see the physical manifestations of those collaborative efforts. We’re still talking about being obedient to the commands of God. #VerseoftheDay #EphesiansChallenge #WhatILearntfromPaul

How’s your standing with God?

Verse of the Day

So Moses left Pharaoh’s court and pleaded with the LORD. The LORD responded by shifting the wind, and the strong west wind blew the locusts into the Red Sea. Not a single locust remained in all the land of Egypt. [NLT] Exodus 10:18-19

God honoured Moses’ request because Moses as a man obeyed God’s words faithfully – except for the time when he and the children of Israel were at the waters of Meribah when the children of Israel frustrated him to the point when he became angry and made a mistake, but that’s a story for another day. It was easier for Moses to go to God for a request on behalf of the people of Egypt and Israel and God heard Him. As seen from Moses’ example, being in a right standing with God, makes God that more accessible. Are there requests you’ve been waiting on God for? Are you in right standing with Him? If not, ask the help of the Holy Spirit. He will guide, show and enable you to understand the words and commands of God, and the benefits of being obedient to the commands of God. #Verseoftheday #RightStandingWithGod

You have got to talk to her!

Sometimes it’s good to have a heart to heart talk with yourself. Naaah, it’s not a sign of madness :D. So you regularly receive encouraging updates from Jj; on why you ought to fight the good fight of faith, and see “the greatness in you that is before you” :D. That doesn’t even make sense you say. Basically, telling you, that you mustn’t give up on life. But after about 5 mins of reading it, your immediately uplifted mood is slapped back to the reality of your predicament, and the difference between what she’s told you and what you’re faced with.

Yeah, she can say whatever she wants to say, but she’s not living your life. It’s not that easy you know, to have hope, to have faith, to look beyond where you are and believe that you will one day get to a great place.

Sometimes “suga” you need to communicate with yourself. It’s not a sign of madness or weakness! You need to remind yourself of all the great things you’ve got going on in your life, and why the Joy of your Salvation, Jesus Christ – not wealth, not titles, not positions – is the SINGLE MOST important thing in life. And why everything else, yeah that great job, business, great and wonderful things, are just merely benefits of your salvation, which you will ultimately have. Your state of what you’re calling “poverty” in wealth, career, business, even in marriage will never always remain the way they are. Change is constant, and one day you will ask yourself, why you worried your life silly. Your faith in Jesus Christ, and Rest for your soul means that you are already an overcomer. And it’s just a matter of when, when everything falls into place. Angel, talk to yourself! So stop wasting your life, your time on fleeting accessories and focus on what’s important. You are alive, you are healthy and you have Jesus. Girl, you were born for greatness, and even if it tarries, you will get there. I hope you get what I’m saying. It’s Friday and it’s sunny outside, so put your stunners on, go get yourself a nice low fat yogurt, and mix in some mango pieces. Delicious! Yeah, I’m off to do just that. Enjoy yourself, life is wonderful and you my dearest you are already on your way to greatness :D. #HappyFridayEveryone #JesusIsReal #EverythingElseIsCounterfeit

You are coming out!

Verse of the Day –

Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron during the night. “Get out!” he ordered. “Leave my people–and take the rest of the Israelites with you! Go and worship the LORD as you have requested. [NLT] Exodus 12:31

Your mind may have deceived you into believing your situation is a hopeless one. Your thought process may have let you down, and you’ve started preparing for a life that is just ordinary. I am here to remind you that you are coming out! You may have tarried in that “ghost” of a life, where you feel nothing seems to work, and your long awaited expectations/desire is not forthcoming. You may feel you’ve advanced in years, and have started to believe that your best years are now well and truly behind you. What utter Nonsense! Regardless of how long you may have stayed in that wilderness; regardless of how long the person whom you thought was in charge of your career or business may have kept you immobile, the time for your break-through to the next level has come. That situation is not a hopeless one. That cause is not a hopeless one. That job restriction will not be the end of you. You are moving up! You are coming out with much more than your mind could ever have conceived. Why? Because the Lord, Creator of the entire universe has order it. So whether the circumstance likes it or not, it has to let you GO! #Verseoftheday #ExodusChallenge

Help is on its way

Verse of the Day

Then a new king, who knew nothing about Joseph, began to rule in Egypt. He said to his people, “There are too many Israelites, and they are stronger than we are. We have to outsmart them, or they’ll increase in number. Then, if war breaks out, they will join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the country.” [GWT] Exodus 1:8-10

…….

The Israelites became a target in Egypt because the king of Egypt saw how successful they were in everything they did and became afraid of them. The children of Israel were multiplying in number, growing in wealth and in all aspects of their lives, and this worried the Egyptian. Sometimes the challenges we face in life is truly of no fault of our own. Indeed the idea that “someone’s got it in for you” springs into mind, and most times you don’t know why the place of work/business you used to love all of a sudden becomes a nightmare of sorts. You may not realise this, but there is something super special about you, and just because you don’t know it, doesn’t mean others are not aware of it. Despite their sufferings, despite the plans of the king of Egypt to break their will, this did not stop the children of Israel from growing in number. I am here to tell you, that regardless of what might be happening currently in your life, in your home, in your place of work/business, you will survive it, and you will come out stronger, better and much more successful than before it all began. The Lord the God you serve is a living God. He has seen your plight, and help is on its way. Don’t give in to that situation just yet.
