Praise Report 2

Verse of the Day

Praise the LORD’s greatness with me. Let us highly honor his name together. [GWT] Psalm 34:3

Even the psalmist was not content with praising God all on his own. He must have praised and praised God, and realised that even if He was to praise Him from now till eternity it would not be enough to thank Him for all He did for Him (which he tells us in verses 4-10 of the same chapter). And so He called on Israel to join him in praising the Lord. Sometimes in life, when you’ve taken a stock check of your life, and have seen all that the Lord has done for you, you can’t help but to go the way of the Psalmist, and ask not just your friends and family, but even the world to come and praise the Lord with you. Indeed I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. I have looked only to the Lord, and my face has never been covered with shame. In my desperation I prayed and sought the Lord, indeed He listened and He saved me from all of my troubles. For the angel of the LORD is a guard; He surrounds and defends all who fear Him. Oh Friends, taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will never lack any good thing. (Vs 4-10). Why don’t you come and praise the Lord with me. Indeed His mercies endure forever. #PraiseReport #Verseoftheday #Devotional #Bible
