You Dry Bones Live – Part 2!

#WordsToLiveBy

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Ezekiel 37:7 [NKJV]

….

I’m pretty sure that Ezekiel, even though He presumed to think that He knew what God is capable of, He probably secretly didn’t fully believe that dry bones can come back to life. I’m sure you’re probably wondering, O yes, I’ve heard it all before, that yes, it’s for others to see a transformation in their situations/challenging circumstances, but not for the likes of you. That what is dead should be left dead, no point raising false hopes, because the situations in your life are the ‘impossible, irreparable, unmovable’ type of ones. But in our reading today, because Ezekiel DID AS he was COMMANDED, because he didn’t try to OVERTHINK the command, and just went for it, a physical change was visible. You see, there was no need for him to argue over the command, since for one, He didn’t have that kind of power or the where-with-all to bring dead bones back to life, so there was no need questioning the command; but instead, He did what he was told. He simply prophesied as he was commanded, and the WORDS OF GOD DID THE REST! Is there someone struggling to believe whether God can and will do what He said He will do? You don’t need to fill your mind with all that kind of unnecessary questions. All you need to do is Speak into those situations, prophesy, and let God to the rest!
