My joy is REAL

#WordsToLiveBy

After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! Revelation 19:1 [NKJV]

….

I praise You, Oh Lord, for indeed in my life I have seen all you’ve been doing. Faithful Father, awesome counsellor, mighty deliverer, way maker, Levels changer, today and always I lift my hands in praise of your glorious name. All I am, all I will ever be is because of your unmerited grace. Lord Jesus, I am still grateful.

My joy is real, my joy is full, and it’s all because of You Jesus!

The Name of Jesus!

#WordsToLiveBy

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11 [NKJV]

……

It doesn’t matter what the size/magnitude of that challenging situation may be; the name of Jesus is higher, mightier and more superior than they are! Don’t you think it’s about time you called out the name of Jesus over the challenging situations of your life?

Death came calling today, But God!

#WordsToLiveBy

He asked life from You, and You gave it to him—Length of days forever and ever. Psalm 21:4 [NKJV]

……..

Today I almost died. I fell off a moving bus, where my fall was broken by a parked black taxi, before landing face and head down, hitting the left side of my face and head on the tarmac road. My mind was so preoccupied with all the one million things I needed to do, and how I had to get back in time for the school run, without realising how and when I fell. Passers-by heard a loud noise. Dentists were running out of their offices, investment bankers and city workers were running out of their buildings onto the main road. Everyone on the around gave a great grasp, almost as if to say, did she survive this fall. But God! I woke up concussed, light headed, dizzy and confused. A great big bruise on my face, my head in a lot of pain, my arms and my legs in bruises. But God! They insisted on calling an ambulance, all I could think of was getting back to my children. But God! The Ambulance came and as they say the rest is now History. Lord I am eternally grateful for all the London city workers that left their offices, jobs and spent the hrs today with me. Thank You Lord for how strangers, people I have never met, sacrificed so much of their time, their day, staying with me to make sure I was cared for. People were cancelling appointments, just so that ‘I’ received proper care. Goodness God, indeed what manner of love is this?

{You shall not be afraid of the destruction that lays waste at noonday, No evil shall befall you, For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways, In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone; Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him, I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation. (Psalm 91:6, 10-12, 15-16)}

My Father and my God, indeed the DEAD CANNOT praise Your name. Lord Jesus, I am thankful to You today for sparing my husband, my children and my loved ones from sorrow upon sorrow; and for giving me a moment longer in this land of the living. Thank you so much Lord for saving and sparing me. For all You’ve done for me and continue to do for me, I am eternally grateful.

I Will Praise You Jesus!

#WordsToLiveBy

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 28:7 [NKJV]

…….

My heart trusted in Jesus, and I am helped, indeed this is forever my testimony! Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, because not only did He hear me, He came through for me! Glory to God! He came through for me in an unimaginable way, which is why my life, my heart, my mouth will forever praise Him, for He has been so very good to me, and to us! The Psalmist of old testified of the goodness of God; the Psalmists of new STILL testify concerning the goodness of God; and while I have breath in me, me and my house will never stop speaking of the goodness of God over our lives! For all You have done for us Lord Jesus, and continue to do, we are forever and truly grateful.

I am confident of this!

#WordsToLiveBy

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 [NIV]

…..

On whom are you basing your confidence in? That’s the problem many of us have. When the storms of life comes (and believe they will come), how do you think you will be able to weather it? Because when fear, and all manner of negative thinking starts creeping into your mind, you will succumb, because who do you know in this life, (even if you don’t believe in the life after) that is dependable, and also has the authority to get you through it? I’ll tell you who, NOBODY except for Jesus! Some people wonder when they see lovers of God going through truly difficult and challenging situations, and still seem to keep a steady confident outlook; they call them “strong”, but it is not their own strength that is at work. No, it is Jesus’ strength in them and through them that is in operation. His grace! That’s why the Psalmist confidently declared “in spite of the challenges”, “even though the storms of life is willing me to give up”, I WILL NOT, why? Because I have Jesus, whose rod and staff keeps holding me up and strong, so I WILL NOT succumb? Can you imagine the difference it makes in one’s life, having Jesus on our “boat” of life? It’s a difference of Life or death, it’s a difference of whether we stay alive and live to declare His goodness in this land of the living, or death! Question is, if you don’t have Him, why not? And why would you want to go through life without Jesus anyways? The choice is always yours!

Not Forgotten!

#WordsToLiveBy

Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’” Isaiah 52:6 [NKJV]

….

Sooner or later the world and the people around you, who may have been asking/wondering “where is their God” will no longer ask or ponder upon such over your life again. In Jesus name. Amen. You may have served Him faithfully, encouraged many in His name, and still your life appears to show anything but His glory. It may seem others who may have served Him a little, or were merely bench warmers in the church appear to be getting, overwhelmingly sudden breakthroughs. But you, you’re still waiting on that desired breakthrough. God has not forgotten your services in His house. He is NOT unaware of you. Quite the contrary. A time is coming, much sooner than you will ever realise, when what God has spoken concerning your life will spring forth. Remain encouraged. You are not forgotten!

Jesus Is the Only Way!

#WordsToLiveBy

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 [NIV]

…….

Jesus is not a figment of someone’s imagination, or merely a prophet or even a good man that lived many many years ago. He is the Son of the Living God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). That is why He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:17).

He is alive, He conquered death so that we might be saved. Salvation is found in no one else, there is no other person, no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we can be saved. He is the only one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Saviour, to grant repentance and forgiveness of sins (Acts 5:31). Only He has the authority on earth to forgive sins (Matthew 9:6), no one else! He is the only way, He is the only truth, and He is the only one that can give you real life, not just for a time, but for everlasting. No person, No one can come to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Jesus is the only way, every other way is counterfeit!
