He never disappoints!

Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Psalm 150:2 [NKJV]

….

2017 was one of those years that was filled with so many mixed emotions. For some reason, I was fixated on the things that didn’t work out as alway. But now that the year is over, when I reflect on it, I can’t help but see the wonders and the greatness of God through it all. There were many answered prayers, many answers to the right questions, answers already programmed to come through in 2017, and all it needed to unlock them was asking the right questions, seeking the right doors to knock on which was already programmed by God to open. There were many closed doors, but I couldn’t help but wonder, if I were operating under my God-Intelligence, just maybe I wouldn’t have worried so much.

So now that I’ve done my reflection on the previous actions, I have finally realised that often-times, all God wants from us is to know what the right plan/prayers for the many seasons of our lives are. And you know what? You can never go wrong when you seek His counsel first. Why don’t you start your new year with His counsel? I have known Him to be a God who never disappoints. Dearest Lord Jesus, for my many answered prayers, desired breakthroughs and encouragements, I am truly grateful.

You May Have been left battered, but …

#WordsToLiveBy

But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” Matthew 8:26-27 [NKJV]

………………………

Have you been left battered by the overwhelming impact of the negative storms of life which has left you marooned and in a state of neither living, but not quite dead yet? Has it left a devastation which you’ve come to accept is impossible to come out of. Have you evaluated your situation and you’ve realised you’ve come to an unexpected end?

Stop being so fearful! I know of someone who has the power to still even the fiercest of storms. Whenever He shows up in your situation, no matter how vicious the challenge may be, they have no choice but to obey Him. That’s the kind of excellent person He is.

Who can this be you may ask? His name is Jesus! He is the Son of the Living God. Only He has the power to command the negative situations plaguing your life to disappear! Why don’t you try Him today? What do you have to lose by trying Him? Nothing! So why don’t seek His help today! He is the only ONE that can transform impossible, difficult and devastating situations into all kind of wonderful!

Why don’t you give Jesus a try today, and you never know, today might just be that day that all your worries disappear for good!

God has not lied to you

#WordsToLiveBy

Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail. My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to [David]: Psalm 89:33-35 [NKJV]

..

.

Maybe you’re among those who are believing God for a long desired breakthrough and because of how long you’ve been waiting, you’ve started to wonder if it will ever happen. Or worse still, if God will ever grant you that desire of a baby, a partner, healing, or a career breakthrough. My dearest friend, it is written in His words, He will never let HIS faithfulness to you to fail. That He has made you a promise, it has left His lips and He will never alter it. Today I want you to remain encouraged. Someone once told me that if you still have joy and remain hopeful, your hope will not be disappointed.  Hold onto Him, unto His words. From Everlasting to Everlasting He is God. He is the unchangeable changer. He is unshakeable, immovable. He is constant and consistent. He is consistently faithful, consistently good, and consistently kind. He will come through for you, and He can be relied upon. He is a promise keeper, not a promise and fail kind of god. He is reliable, He is dependable, and He has never failed before. And believe me when I say this, He has NEVER EVER failed me! I implore you to hold on! He will do exactly for you what He said He will do! He has not lied to you!

What do you mean, sleeper?

#WordsToLiveBy

So the captain came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God; perhaps your God will consider us, so that we may not perish.” Jonah 1:6 [NKJV]

..

It is natural to want to give up when you’re hit with the many storms of life. So you woke up to some bad news, everything that could go wrong suddenly started doing exactly that. Go wrong. Not knowing which way to turn, overwhelmed by it all, you then make the decision to give up. My dearest friend, this is not a time to give up. This is not the time to sleep. This is the exact time to call on your God. The time to pray. If you’re not serving a living God, the Almighty God, then you already know that there will be no answer from the gods that you look to. But if you have confessed that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life, then you know His Father, God, is a covenant God, and He is a prayer hearing and answering God. He alone is able to help in time of need, and is willing to do it. Thus it is your duty and in your interest to call upon him in your time of trouble, yes, in your time of need; and watch Him show forth for you. He will never disappoint you. So what are you waiting for? Why don’t you try Him today!

This is the time to call on Him, not to go to sleep!
