Trusting God

Verse of the Day

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. [NLT] Isaiah 41:10

…..

God will make something beautiful out of your life, but He will need your trust in him to be able to do it. You may feel like it’s a lifelong challenge, especially since it feels like your life is a made of a series of one misadventure after another. It’s almost as if you’ve barely recovered from one adversity then you’re off on another. But God wants you to trust Him that He knows what He’s doing in your life, and He’s in control of it. Don’t you think it’s time you gave Him you unwavering trust, in spite of life’s challenges, in spite of what may be happening around you? He’s asking you to trust Him today, and you’ll see that it will all work out better than you imagined! #Verseoftheday #Devotional #Bible #Jesus #TrustingGod #FaithFulGod

Your good is much better!

Verse of the Day

Don’t worry about the wicked, or envy those who do wrong. [NLT] Psalm 37:1

….

Why you ask? Because “like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither”. Therefore “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun” (Psalm 37:2-6). Focus on doing good and in due time you will be richly rewarded by God! Though it seems your breakthrough may be taking a long while in coming, don’t stop in doing that good that you’re doing. The Lord has seen your good works, and He will never disappoint you. Remain encouraged. It will work out just fine in the end! #Verseoftheday #Devotional #Bible #Jesus #FaithFulGod #Psalm #Psalm37

He Watches His Words!

Verse of the Day:

Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” [NKJV] Jeremiah 1:12

….

Aren’t you glad that our Lord God watches over His Word to perform it? In Isaiah 55:11 He said that the word that goes out from His mouth will not return to Him empty, but will accomplish what He desires and will achieve the purpose for which He sent it. Meaning that as children of God we don’t have to worry if God has heard our prayers, or if He plans on answering them, our confidence and assurance should be in the fact that God has made some wonderful promises in His word to us (in our Bible), and also tells us that He will do what He says He will do for us. And since we know that He doesn’t or make false promises or lies (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18), we can continue to remain confident that no matter how long that it takes for His plans or that expected promise to be established in our lives, it will most definitely happen. Be confident in Him and in His word. He hears you and you have no reason to doubt Him. God truly answers prayers; and that I know so very well. #VerseoftheDay #Devotional #Bible #FaithfulGod #Prayers #PromisesOfGod #Jesus #ConfidenceInTheWordOfGod

The Least I could do!

Verse of the Day

For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. [NLT] Psalm 100:5

…..

Today I am indeed thankful for all of the challenges, without which I would never have fully comprehended how much loved I and all that concerns me are loved by YOU Jesus! You have been faithful even in impending failure; You have been generous during times of lack; my Lord and my King, You have been true even when all that surrounded me was a multitude of deceivers. Where would I have been today, if it had not been for you? What would have become of me, of my story, of my legacy? But God, You made the difference, You are the difference, and today Lord, the least I could do, is to take the time out to say THANK YOU, for all you’ve done for me! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Jesus, for saving me, for loving me, for being ever so good and wonderful to me!

Verse of the Day
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation
