Help is on its way

Verse of the Day

Then a new king, who knew nothing about Joseph, began to rule in Egypt. He said to his people, “There are too many Israelites, and they are stronger than we are. We have to outsmart them, or they’ll increase in number. Then, if war breaks out, they will join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the country.” [GWT] Exodus 1:8-10

The Israelites became a target in Egypt because the king of Egypt saw how successful they were in everything they did and became afraid of them. The children of Israel were multiplying in number, growing in wealth and in all aspects of their lives, and this worried the Egyptian. Sometimes the challenges we face in life is truly of no fault of our own. Indeed the idea that “someone’s got it in for you” springs into mind, and most times you don’t know why the place of work/business you used to love all of a sudden becomes a nightmare of sorts. You may not realise this, but there is something super special about you, and just because you don’t know it, doesn’t mean others are not aware of it. Despite their sufferings, despite the plans of the king of Egypt to break their will, this did not stop the children of Israel from growing in number. I am here to tell you, that regardless of what might be happening currently in your life, in your home, in your place of work/business, you will survive it, and you will come out stronger, better and much more successful than before it all began. The Lord the God you serve is a living God. He has seen your plight, and help is on its way. Don’t give in to that situation just yet.

Verse of the Day

The LORD said, “I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt, and I have heard them crying out because of the slave drivers. I know how much they’re suffering. I have come to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good land with plenty of room [for everyone]. It is a land flowing with milk and honey where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites live. [GWT] Exodus 2:7-8

Your struggles are not unknown to God. He is not oblivious of your situations and He is not on holiday. Everything that you’ve been through or are going through He sees them. You’re probably wondering “well if He’s seen my misery, my state of affair, my years of suffering, why isn’t He doing anything about it?” Wait on the Lord! It may not sound like much right now, and you’ve probably resigned yourself on things ever getting better. He will not abandon you in that situation. He has seen you, He is seeing you, and your breakthrough it much closer than you know. #Prayer: Every area of your life that may seem down today, in the name above every name, I declare to you in the name of Jesus will come up in Jesus name. Amen. Your time of remembrance has come. #VerseoftheDay #Exodus

Verse of the Day

People keep asking me, “Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come.” [GWT] Jeremiah 17:15

You may have started the year holding unto what God’s WORD says concerning what He’s going to do in your life this year. Quite possibly you may have expected it all to happen within the first few months, and we’re already half way through the third month of the year. You’ve probably started to accept that maybe this year might just be like all the other years when nothing in your life changed, the Lord is still saying to you: “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. [Jeremiah 17:7-9].

For the reason that you hope and have confidence in Jesus alone, He will come through for you and make your life fruitful. Your expectations from Him will never be cut short. He will deliver what He has promised, and you can bet your life on Him doing so.

Verse of the Day

Plow your unplowed fields, and don’t plant among thorns. [GWT] Jeremiah 4:3b

Isn’t it amazing how God is speaking to us concerning bringing back dead dreams to life, and how along with speaking favourably about the negative situations in our lives, that we also have to see our lives being transformed for the better. I don’t know about you, but I am excited, about all the wonderful things that God is about to spring forth out of our existence. Long awaited, planned, desired, tirelessly work hard at visions being fulfilled. And while we are declaring positive statements with our mouths and seeing ourselves living that dream, we also need to make sure our lives are in a state that can receive and keep all the wonderful things that are on the way. It’s time we started digging up things in our lives that have hardened us or made us unproductive over the years – such as un-forgiveness / malice / jealousy / bitterness e.t.c.,  – and start irrigating the land that is our lives with the love of Jesus Christ in readiness for the promised downpour of God’s blessing. It’s time we started removing unfruitful/negative associations which could prevent our blessings from making positive changes in our lives. Indeed, it is possible to live your dream, it is possible to see yourself beyond where you are right now and it is possible for you to make all the necessary changes that will aid the effectual transformation of your life. Jehovah God is with us, He is indeed still on the throne. Halleluyah, Praise His name, forever more.

Verse of the Day

‘Days go by, and every vision comes to nothing’? [GWT] Ezekiel 12:22B

You may have started your year with great plans, worked tirelessly hard to see them fulfilled, and maybe for one reason or the other you may have started to say to yourself “what is the point?” “Time is passing and still nothing is coming of this vision”. You’ve had no visible/tangible fruits from your hard work. The Lord is saying to you “The time is near when every vision will come true” [Ezek. 12:23C]. Those visions / goals of yours will not end in vain, and He will help you to make a success of them. The desired/destined end is nearer than you think! #Don’t give up on the vision!

Verse of the Day

The LORD will restore Jacob’s glory like Israel’s glory, although enemies have looted it and have destroyed its vines. [GWT] Nahum 2:2

The Lord says He will restore your splendour. Don’t think there’s any more to add! Maybe you’re feeling a little neglected, abandoned, with a bleak outlook because of all that is happening around you. The Lord says He’s going to add some wonderful colours back into your life, to make you glorious! The loveliness of a successful life that you were destined for that once eluded you, which you thought you may never be associated with, the Lord says He is restoring back. Get ready, sooner than you can ever imagine, glory is about to overtake you, and a life lived in great joy will forever be synonymous with your name. Amen and Amen.

Verse of the Day:

We’re frustrated, but we don’t give up. [GWT] 2 Corinthians 4:8b

Don’t be so quick to make a judgement on a frustrating situation. Sit down and look at again. You might find after a few days have gone, your view on it would have changed. Are you facing some challenges that might be causing you to see things in a way you ought not to see them? Are you overcome by an overwhelming feeling of giving up/not bothering on that project/plan/desire? Hang fire for a little while AND ask the Lord Jesus for patience, AND He will give it to you. Don’t give up on account of that situation. Everything will work out just fine. Keep your faith in Jesus alive.
