Tears of Joy not sorrow

Verse of the Day

Tears of joy will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care. They will walk beside quiet streams and on smooth paths where they will not stumble. [NLT] Jeremiah 31:9

….

In this bible verse God assures his people that He will AGAIN restore His children to their place of rest. Even though you may be going through difficulties that at times have been so humiliating; brought low to the point where the times in your life when you experienced joy has become a distant memory, God is reminding YOU that YOU will be joyful again, and this time around the tears you’ve shed over those trials will be exchanged instead with tears of joy. How about that! So even though you may have woken up this morning, feeling so underwhelmed to the point that you don’t want to be seen, because of certain situations that is making a mockery of you, the Lord is reminding you this morning that you will hold your head high again, because He will lead you to your place of promotion, where you no longer have to feel humiliation again. Take heart, Jesus cares, and for you He cares an awful lot. You will smile again, and because God said so, He will do exactly what He said! You will experience joy again. You better believe that! #Verseoftheday #Bible #Devotional #TearsofJoy #Jesus

Verse of the Day

Yet their Redeemer is strong; the LORD Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land [NIV] Jeremiah 50:34

…..

“There is HOPE for your future (Jer. 31:17)” because The Lord Almighty who is your redeemer will see to it that it is so. He will not only work it out so vigorously, but He will see to it that it is a future that will make you an example to your generation. You’re probably looking at your current situation, the struggles, the disappointments; the failed attempts to kick start your dreams, the missed opportunities, the years, years of frustrations and may be wondering is it possible, and who is this God that He would want to bless me by turning my disillusioned state around? The Lord Almighty is His name. It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens. When he speaks in the thunder, the heavens are filled with water. He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from his storehouses. ((Jer. 51:15-17). He is the maker of all things and He loves you much more than you would ever realise. HE will carry out His purpose in your life (Jer. 51:12e), and it will be a good one. #Jeremiahchallenge

Verse of the Day

there will be heard once more the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to the LORD. They will sing, ‘Give thanks to the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, for the LORD is good. His faithful love endures forever!’ For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says the LORD. [NLT] Jeremiah 33:10-11

…..

He is forever and ever faithful. Don’t ever forget that. In spite of what may be disturbing your peace or whenever you remember disquietens you will not be a permanent occurrence. The Love of Christ will prevail through that situation and you will rejoice again. It’s impossible for God to forget you, or stop loving you; it’s not in His nature. Trust Him. TRUST HIM. He is the Lord God of all mankind. Nothing is ever too hard for Him to do. The time when many will gather to rejoice with you is much closer than you think. You will shine again. #Jeremiahchallenge

Verse of the Day

This is what the LORD says: Stop your crying, and wipe away your tears. You will be rewarded for your work, declares the LORD. [GWT] Jeremiah 31:6

….

I don’t know if there is anyone who feels like they’ve been stuck on the merry go round of life for ages, stuck in a runt with no progress to show for all their years of hard work. Has it gotten to the stage where your lack of progress is keeping you awake at night, wondering what next Lord, asking question such as why is this happening to me? Will all my effort continue to be in vain? The Lord is saying to YOU, stop all those senseless worry, stop crying and wipe away your tears. “There is HOPE for your future (Jer. 31:17)”. You’re probably tired, and quite possibly reached the point where you’re tired of being sick and tired. The Lord our God, creator of the entire Heavens and the earth, says He will refresh you (vs 25) and reward all of your hard work. Your hard-work will no longer be in vain, you will be rewarded; your work in His kingdom will never go un-notice. #JeremiahChallenge
