Almost never made it!

Verse of the Day
If the LORD had not come to help me, my soul would have quickly fallen silent [in death]. [GWT] Psalm 94:17
Indeed this has been my life’s testimony. To think that The Lord Jesus spared my life and not only mine, but those of my family members, my loved ones from sorrow upon sorrows fills my heart with so much gratitude to Him. The depth of the grave beckoned; I almost never made it out, but I did with Jesus. We did with His love. And with that knowledge I know that I (and we) will make it throughout this new year, this 2015 in Jesus name. Amen. It’s going to be our best year yet. With Jesus our testimony will be an unending one!! We will have many reasons to be joyful this year, indeed we will have many joyful moments for The Lord Jesus is and will forever be with us. And with His help we will make it without a shadow of a doubt! #VerseoftheDay #Devotional #AlmostNeverMadeIt #WithJesusIConquer2015 #Amen

My new year swagger!!

Verse of the Day
because you are with me, I fear no harm. Your rod and your staff give me courage. [GWT] Psalm 24:4b
My first post of 2015, a little late i know. Truly grateful to God that we made it. And even more, that if I were to forg et everything or anything this year, one assuredness is that regardless of what happens this 2015, the Lord God of heaven and earth, Jesus is with me, is with you and all our loved ones this new year. And for that reason that unrefutable knowledge should give us more than enough courage to run with our visions this new year and to look forward to all the wonderful success stories that will happen in our lives this 2015. That i am certain of!! Happy new year to you all.

A love quite extraordinary!

Verse of the Day

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. [NLT] Romans 8:38-39
That’s how loved you are! That’s how important you are! That’s how precious you are. Don’t let anyone deceive you with a less ordinary version. You’re quite extraordinary in the sight of God! That’s why nothing, nothing you could ever think of could ever separate you from the love of God.

Don’t bury what can live!

Verse of the Day

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” [NLT] Matthew 17:20
Strip off of your person every tag, label, and signs of limitations in your life which your Father in heaven has not placed on you. The power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you, don’t you realise what that means. Don’t limit yourself by giving up on your dreams, dare to see it fulfilled in your life. If you have enough faith to say it, God has enough power to do it. And He is more than able to make you an unstoppable wonder in your generation. You are much more than the life you are leading. Don’t bury the dream when it has a great survival rate with God! Don’t give up on God, He is more than able to breathe life into every stagnant, dead, barren areas of your life. All you need do is have faith in God. Not big faith, faith as small as a mustard seed. Don’t bury what can live! #Faith #MustardSeedFaith #God #Jesus #VerseoftheDay #Devotional

Gifts riddled with sorrows!

Verse of the Day

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph’s character. [NLT] Psalm 105:19
Sometimes the length of time it takes for the fulfilment of your dreams is inconsequential, all that’s important is, is the wait orchestrated or allowed to happen by God so that all things works together for your greater good? Sometimes it is better to let God work things out for you instead of you working it out for yourself. Regardless of where you are or at what point you’re in your life, are you willing to stretch your faith in God in the way you live your life, the things you say and the way you say it? If you have enough faith to say it, God has enough power to do it. Don’t you think it’s time you waited for God’s time to get His promised gift that has no complications or sorrow; or jump ahead of Him and get for yourself gifts riddled with sorrows that lasts a life time? The choice is really up to you! #Verseoftheday #Devotional

Not Forgotten!!

Verse of the Day
How long, Lord? Will you forget me for ever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, ‘I have overcome him,’ and my foes will rejoice when I fall. [NIV] Psalm 13:1-4

Have you been feeling disillusioned lately, even to the point that you’ve started to think you’ve been forgotten by Jesus? Have you started to think and speak like this psalmist in Psalm 13:1-4, since it appears things are just not working? Even the same psalmist said “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me” (Psalm 13:5-6) reminding you (and me) that just because you think Jesus May have forgotten you, He truly hasn’t. Because in the end you will experience the goodness of God over your life regardless of  how you feel or what you think! So cheer up, you’re not forgotten, the struggles will never overcome you because He sees all that you’re going through and all will be well in the end. Your testimony will be like that of the psalmist who ended his tirade that even though he wondered if he’d been forgotten, in the end the goodness of God over his showed him that he wasn’t. Have faith in Jesus, all will work out just fine. #VerseoftheDay #bible #Jesus #Forgotten #faith
