Verse of the day
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. [NLT] 3:19
You are beautiful. You are cherished. And most of all, you are Loved! The Lord, creator of the entire universe has made you much more than you could ever fully comprehend. If only you knew or realised how wonderfully brilliant you are. If only you knew the manner of love, #Christ loves you; you will put an end to all the lies roaming free in your mind, making you feel less than you are. Your mind for years have been a highway of all kinds of fabrication, lies travelling well above their speed limits roaming to-and-fro, and why I ask you? Why have you bought into the falsehoods that you are nothing, inconsequential and rejected! Why? Why have you imagined it, and worse still, why have you believed it, just because some said so? Who told you, you are less than you have been made? Who are they? Don’t you think it’s time you filtered all the lies with a diversion, diverting them all on a one way route out of your mind and life with the Truth of what God says concerning you? Don’t you think it’s time to put up your sign post, saying “No More Entry For Lies” “The Highway ahead is CLOSED”? Friends, If only you knew how important you are and whom you belong to, you will not only realise your priceless worth but you will never again spend a single day believing the made-up untruths concerning you! I think it’s time you had a spring in your step, and start shaking what your Father in heaven gave you :D. And my prayer for you is that one day, you will get to know that love, and come to the realisation that all other loves are counterfeit! God loves you way more than you will ever know. To know that love is to have lived a fulfilled life!
Verse of the Day
‘May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand-fold more than you are and bless you, just as He has promised you! [NASB] Deuteronomy 1:11
Isn’t it amazing to know that God has made a #promise concerning our lives, and whether we like it or not, whether we think it might happen or not happen, regardless of how long it appears we’ve been waiting for it, even when we go through our phases of belief and unbelief; #God is still faithful in bringing His promises to pass in our lives! And He can be trusted. Let that sink deep into our consciousness, and we will finally see that all that has happened in our lives have the designs of the master planner written all over it! You’re not alone and you’re not prone to misfortune.
Verse of the Day
The LORD your God fought for you! [GWT] Joshua 23:3b
The Lord may have granted you a momentous/substantial/major breakthrough, after which may have followed a long period of drought. It is possible that during the long drought, you may have forgotten that there was once a time in your life when it appeared nothing could ever go wrong, when you felt the Lord was fighting for you. It is true that oftentimes the period of drought may be as a consequence of not-being in right standing with God. Check your standing with the Lord to make sure you’re alright with Him. However, to think that the Lord no longer has your back, or looks after you, is a lie from the pit of hell :). What did we learn from our #Jeremiahchallenge that the Lord said concerning us? EXACTLY! In Jer. 31:3, Jehovah, creator of the heavens and the earth said “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness”. Meaning, even if we were to return His loved back in the post to Him, smash it to a million pieces or give it to another man / woman, still doesn’t change the fact that He has loved us with a love that cannot be changed, and so cannot un-love us. And since He cannot un-love us, surely He cannot have stopped fighting for us! Do you see where I’m getting to :)? He fought for us once, He is still fighting for us, and till the end of our days, He will continue to fight for us. #Have faith in God! You will still see that goodness of the Lord that may have eluded you for so long in this land of the living. #JoshuaChallenge #Verseoftheday
If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan? [NLT] Jeremiah 12:5b
This is not the time to give up. It’s a new day, a new week, and the second month of that year when you’re going to experience a time in your life that you’ve never had before! Indeed it is your year of overflowing goodnessJ! So it seems you feel that you may have blown it, maybe the plan you’d hoped to achieve this year has run into a few glitches which is visible to all who possibly may have been following your every step, even at times, reminding you of how it’s all a “waste of time“. And so what? Does you having a few teething problems affect the price of bread / fish or melt the economy of your country? Did I hear you say NO? So why all the pressure, why are you giving up on yourself? Surely you succeeding impacts your life, you! Yes the work is hard, but please try to remember that you are not on your own. The #Lord #Jesus who is your helper, your champion and your biggest fan and cheer leader believes in you and knows without a shadow of a doubt that you will succeed. So get yourself off the place you’re seated and give that plan a try again! #For change to happen in your life you need to not only want it enough, but refuse to stay down at every hurdle of life.
Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the ends of the earth as your own possession. [GWT] Psalm 2:8
I’m sure there were times when you were younger than you are now, when you went to see your dad about getting you “must have” gifts 🙂 And of course your dad being your hero, if it was something he could do, within his power, he did just that. Of course if you had someone like my dad, you probably get whatever you asked for up until the age of 7-8 and after that you had to come up with a reason, a dissertation / thesis of some sort why what you wanted was important, what the benefit of having it would make in your life and what daddy would get in return.. e.g., I promise to pass my exams, brush my teeth, not fight with U-g-o…and so forth… But I digress 🙂 Love my dad 😀
But our Father in heaven is saying to us here, to ask HIM? Are there things plaguing your mind that you would like a rest from or questions about our God our Father which you would like to know? Ask HIM! Are there uncertainties, mysteries, lack of clarity/vision which you would like to get a hold of? Ask God! Is there some nagging questions keeping you awake at night which no one has been able to help you with? Ask the Lord! He’s not like some or most fathers, whose powers are limited, who maybe put conditions on their love/gift giving, or who maybe were nowhere to be found or seen when you needed them the most. El Roi, our Father who is Strong and sees everything that we do, has ALL the answers. He is a loving and doting Father, whose only care in the world is YOU. Go to Him and see if He is not able to come through for you. He is Jehovah Sabaoth, whose power is without ending, and His love for you has no limit or condition. Ask of Him, speak to Him, He hears, and He will answer you.
