His name your life Changer!

Verse of the Day

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. [NKJV] John 14:14

Jesus Christ gave us a signed open cheque. That whatever we ask in His name, that is for our real good that is according to His will for us, that is for the glory of God, that He would do it for us. But you’re probably wondering, but how do I know what is good for me? How do I know what is according to God’s will for me and that will also bring Glory to God? Don’t you know that the will of God is not meant to be a secret we must uncover? No, Indeed, God wants us to understand His will far more than we want to understand it. He has always made His will very clear to us, to those of us who look to Him and are obedient to His commands. Aside from the facts that God wants us Saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4; 2 Peter 3:9), Spirit-filled (Ephesians 5:17-18), Sanctified (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7), committed to His word (1 Peter 2:13-15) and to understand that the journey is not for the faint hearted (Philippians 1:29; 2 Timothy 3:12), He also wants us to live in great health and prosper, even as our soul is prospering (3 John 1:2). So if you’re struggling in the area of your health, emotionally, physically, financially why don’t you ask Jesus’ help? He said He would, so don’t be shy about it. He wants you to be healthy and well. He wants you not to be in lack. There are so many wonderful things He wants for you, all you need do is find out for yourself what He wants for your life. And trust me God speaks, and clearly too. Stop suffering in silence and open your mouth and your heart to ask for His help; ask in the name of Jesus Christ, a name that is above every other name and He will do it for you. Don’t be shy? Ask and watch your change come! #Devotional #VerseoftheDay #Truth #God #Bible #Change #WillofGod #Name #Jesus #Christ

Verse of the Day
Please pay no attention, my lord, to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his name–his name means Fool, and folly goes with him. [NIV] 1 Samuel 25:25a
….
The importance of a name! What kind of name do you bear? In ancient Israel names were often connected with a person’s character. Even in parts of Africa today. We don’t know if Nabal was given this name or he earned it but he certainly did live up to it, as we were told that he was surly / abrasive and mean in his dealings. As parents we ought to give our children well-meaning names that we would want them to live up and help them to grow into men / women of good characters. A name that would bless and enrich their lives not relegate them to a life of unending failure from the moment they’re born. A name that would activate their inborn / innate success stories! Now my question to you is this, what does your name say about you? Are you living up to your name? #Verseoftheday #SamuelChallenge #Name
