A push without a fall!

This year we need to prepare ourselves to be pushed. The pushing may come through our desires to succeed in the plans we’ve set up for ourselves this new year. It may also come in the form of an opposition. Sometimes the extremities of the push may cause one to think of giving up. Don’t let it. The Lord say, yes the push may be so strong that it may result in one almost loosing their footing, their way, their vision, BUT He says, He will be there to help us. That He will be there to make sure we don’t fall and fail. Now that’s worth knowing! Stubborn persistence creates chances!!

Life is uncertain, it is not always the best, the strongest or the fastest that reaps the rewards of life; it’s those who stubbornly keep persevering, holding onto the things of God in spite of what life throws at you. Why? Because in the end, in His time He will come through for you. And not giving up on God brings you that much closer to your breakthrough. William Feather said, “Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go” while Robert Brault said, “Stubbornly persist, and you will find that the limits of your stubbornness go well beyond the stubbornness of your limits,” I think that’s a good advice, I believe that’s how we ought to be with our lives when it comes to the things of God. Regardless of where we are in life, or the struggles we encounter, our refusal not to let go of God gives us that fighting chance to live the life He created us to live! A well watered garden!

I wonder if we all recall what a well watered Garden looks like? Exactly always looking well kept, bright, glorious, making its neighbours wishing theirs was like it. The Lord says He’s going to make you be like this Garden, like a spring that never runs out of water. No matter how hard your day may have been or the struggles, The Lord is reminding you of the glorious hope you have in Him if you don’t give up! Your future is bright, it’s filled with unending testimonies; don’t let your current circumstances make you give up on your glorious future. The weather outside may be a reflection of how you’re feeling on the inside. Maybe you’re feeling out of sorts and still confused about your future. Maybe you’ve received some not so good news which has left you feeling a little low. Don’t let your soul be downcast, don’t let your spirit be disturbed. The Lord Jesus is still aware of all that is happening to you. And in time you’ll see His great plans for you come together to favour and bless you. He is more than able to work things out for you. We each have our roles to play in our church, in each other’s lives. No one is better than the other in Christ. Just because someone appears to be doing better than you or moving faster than you doesn’t make them better than you. They’re simply fulfilling their roles and purpose in Christ. You don’t need to be envious, you were not created to be a looser, all you need do is to find out your purpose by asking the Holy Spirit and you’ll soon realise that when you fulfil the part you were born to fill there will be so much fulfilment of purpose and excellence. Don’t you think so? Find your purpose in life through the help of the Holy Spirit and you will never live a day of envy of others in Jesus name. Amen. No one is created to be better than another, but each of us have been created to fulfil a role in our common goal of expanding the Kingdom of God through our giftings. There will be some days when you’re not your usual cheerful self. But you need to remember to remind yourself why even then, period or days, why there should be something to be joyful about. It may not be easy, but you need to make up your mind to say something nice to your heart even then. Rough days come and go, disappointing news comes and goes, but the WORD of God stay true, God’s words concerning you stays true. Remind yourself what the scripture says concerning you and your destination. He says He has great plans for you wherever it is you are. And the plans will take you to an expected end. Meaning you will not be disappointed with the outcome of what He will do in your life. Let Christ Jesus navigate you to your expected end, and you’ll see it will not prove false.
