Almost never made it!

Verse of the Day
If the LORD had not come to help me, my soul would have quickly fallen silent [in death]. [GWT] Psalm 94:17
…….
Indeed this has been my life’s testimony. To think that The Lord Jesus spared my life and not only mine, but those of my family members, my loved ones from sorrow upon sorrows fills my heart with so much gratitude to Him. The depth of the grave beckoned; I almost never made it out, but I did with Jesus. We did with His love. And with that knowledge I know that I (and we) will make it throughout this new year, this 2015 in Jesus name. Amen. It’s going to be our best year yet. With Jesus our testimony will be an unending one!! We will have many reasons to be joyful this year, indeed we will have many joyful moments for The Lord Jesus is and will forever be with us. And with His help we will make it without a shadow of a doubt! #VerseoftheDay #Devotional #AlmostNeverMadeIt #WithJesusIConquer2015 #Amen

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. [NLT] 1 Corinthians 15:58

..

Be strong and Immovable in the work you do towards achieving your desired objectives for this 2014. No hard work carried out to fulfil your – career, family life, work for the Lord, helping people – goals will ever be in vain. Your persistent diligence will most definitely yield a wonderful end result for you. As you continue to press on towards your desired goal, you will never be disappointed with what you end up with in Jesus name. Amen. Put the right work in order to get your desired goal this 2014.

“There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” [NLT] Luke 18:2-5

…….

Jesus told us of a parable where He highlights “persisting in something” to ALWAYS have its dividends. The widow’s seriousness to see Justice in her situation prevailed even with the unjust judge. Why because she never gave up on the results she wanted. Even though Jesus uses this example to show us the significance of praying, He points up “persistence” in praying being the operative word. In seeing your goals fulfilled this year, are there elements you needed to persist on that you haven’t bothered to consider? Don’t you think it’s time you put your fears aside, and defy what may be holding you hostage in making progress towards your goals? #The widow saw her goal fulfilled because she persisted and never gave up. You too will see you goals fulfilled this year because you persisted to the very end!

But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. [NLT] Exodus 14:13

….

Your goals are not beyond your reach! It’s quite possible the mode of reaching it maybe the problem. Have you ignored the work that needs to be done to get the end result? Misunderstood that there needs to be a process, a process that requires persistence in the face of stubborn, immovable obstacles? One of the many deal breakers that prevents us from reaching our goals, is misunderstanding of all the processes that is necessary in order to get there. We have seen the end results, but we forget that there will be challenges, insurmountable work/problems that we will need to crossover/overcome in order to get to our goals. Don’t try to give in, give up, quit, or leave at the first sign of problem, be resolute in your thinking, in your focus, and persist till the very end. Your dreams/desires are there for a purpose, have faith in Jehovah, and you will see that the insurmountable encounters that kept you awake at night, or that was trying to deny you of your end result are inconsequential before Jehovah. The Lord God HIMSELF is with you. He will guide you through it all. Only believe and put your faith to work. #Don’t misunderstand the process, master it and cross into your desired end result with the help of Jehovah!

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. [NLT] Galatians 6:9

…….

Why was the noble dream conceived and for what purpose? What made you so passionate about it, and why has it always been at the forefront of your mind? Was it there to torment you, or to remind you of what you are capable of achieving? Much more than these, the #Lord created you for greatness, to impact your community, your surroundings, your family. Much more than these, He created you to reflect the nature of His Being. The God of heaven and earth is the CREATOR of the entire Universe, and by Him all things were made. Activate your creative nature on your surroundings. The plans, the purpose, the dreams, you have them for a reason. They were woven in the fibre of your being for a reason. Yes, there is much work to be done for the purpose to be realised, but remember, His strength that He has given to you has already activated all the fibres of your being to do what it only knows how to do, to make things happen! #This is not the time to give up on the dream! #Everyday spent working on it is a day closer to the realisation of it!

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. [NLT] Philippians 4:13

…….

You have Jesus’ strength to do all the things you’ve set your mind to achieve this year. He has already given you the power, the leverage, the understanding and the wherewithal that you will ever need to attain success. You’ve done the planning, the preparation, have invited the Lord Jesus for His counsel, and the work has started in earnest. Don’t lose your patience, your heart, your sight of the goal or take the wrong action because of some of the challenges that may come your way. No one said it was going to be easy. But you have the assurance that it will all be worth it. # Who told you your strength has its limitations? #Why are you still listening to people who like reminding you that your plans are unrealistic since you don’t have the wherewithal to achieve them? Have you not the strength of the Omnipotence, a superior strength backing you as you make your way through this 2014? #Superior strength is what you have and will ever; don’t give up on the dreams!

Devotional 14.01.2014

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” [NLT] Deuteronomy 31:6

…….

It’s true that the work involved in transforming your plans from once a figment of your imagination to reality is numerous, immense and enormous in nature. Confusion of where to start may have set in, and you’re now probably considering ditching the whole idea, and just settling for the ordinary. Don’t you know that the workload entailed can never defeat you? Since during the planning and preparation stage you asked #JEHOVAH God to help you to make your plans a success this 2014, the tasks to do in getting your projects off the ground cannot conquer you. Be of sound mind; be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Trust and rely on Him solely and He will never disappoint you. Don’t let the workload devastate you, be of good courage, and do all you can to get the work started. You are well on your way to your breakthrough. You are well on your way to seeing your plans realised this 2014. You are well on your way in making your dreams a reality. You are well on your way to a great start this 2014! #Shake, shake your body loose! #Don’t let your life be intimidated, oppressed, harassed, and tormented by the work it needs to get to where it desires to be! #Still no quitters invited, permitted or needed! #Hard work is still the name of the plan!
