Not Forgotten!!

Verse of the Day
How long, Lord? Will you forget me for ever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, ‘I have overcome him,’ and my foes will rejoice when I fall. [NIV] Psalm 13:1-4

….
Have you been feeling disillusioned lately, even to the point that you’ve started to think you’ve been forgotten by Jesus? Have you started to think and speak like this psalmist in Psalm 13:1-4, since it appears things are just not working? Even the same psalmist said “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me” (Psalm 13:5-6) reminding you (and me) that just because you think Jesus May have forgotten you, He truly hasn’t. Because in the end you will experience the goodness of God over your life regardless of  how you feel or what you think! So cheer up, you’re not forgotten, the struggles will never overcome you because He sees all that you’re going through and all will be well in the end. Your testimony will be like that of the psalmist who ended his tirade that even though he wondered if he’d been forgotten, in the end the goodness of God over his showed him that he wasn’t. Have faith in Jesus, all will work out just fine. #VerseoftheDay #bible #Jesus #Forgotten #faith

It makes a difference Having God as your Father

Verse of the Day

Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites. [NLT] Exodus 11:7b

…..

Before the children of Israel could be rescued, they had to be reminded about the goodness and greatness of God. They had been enslaved for so long that they had probably given up on the idea of ever being freed/rescued, or if in fact the God of their fore-fathers was still in the business of answering heartfelt requests that was birthed from their sufferings. And when Pharaoh refused Moses’ messages from God, the Lord had to show to the Israelites that their God was a living One and not like the gods of the Egyptians. I’m sure when they were reminded the lengths Jehovah would go in order to rescue them from their distresses, I’m sure we don’t need to wonder how they would have felt at the time. The Lord Jesus, the Son of God says anyone who believes in Him, who believes in His teachings have salvation for their souls. And through our faith in Jesus Christ, God qualifies us as His children, and regardless of whatever we might be going through, He is more than able to show to us and the people around us, that there is indeed a benefit in having the Creator of the entire universe as our Father.
